YAA TO BLAH TO EEH

Wednesday was the first time i choose to go somewhere other than refuge for church i decided to go to Life University with my older freinds we had so much fun and the preacher was amazing i think his name was Ricky Saps not sure though but he had amazing things to say about living and giving to gain the favor of God and how he always was living in F.O.G (favor of God). He is one of the main people in the sponser a child thing where you can sponser a child for a year for just 30 bucks a month i so badly wanted to take one but i wont have a job come august 12 and i was to chicken to do it. He also shared a testimony about his wifes miracle well all three of them. She had colon cancer and they took out 36 inches of the 72 a person has and just 1 day after the surgery everything was working fine (it usually takes 3-4 days to even begin to work at all) then after that she took kemo for 53 weeks because God told her to (she was intent on not taking it) and she never lost even a thread of hair, after all that the docters did a checkup and her colon had grown back which according to medical law CAN NOT HAPPEN but what does God care about our "laws" he has his own plan in peoples life. Thats just amazing to me and that shows proof of the power of God for those with faith.

Well i read a most enlighting book this week called How Good is Good Enough by Andy Stanley. the book was amazing it was soo helpful most of the main points i already knew like good deeds alone wont get you to heaven and things like that but there were some specific points that i never thought of i really recomend this book to anybody who is a christian or wants to check out christianity the man is very logical on how he explains how there is only ONE way to God and thats through Jesus he does this by disproving one belief after another in a step by step very logical method. While reading this book i was told to pass it on to this guy that was sitting in starbucks with me after i got done reading and typing notes i walked over to him and told him that this was for him. I thought that the guy was gonna stare at me funny and take the book then talk to his friend about how weird that was but he didnt he looked straight at me and said Thank You. Like he expected it to happen i guess maybe God talked to him too i donno, but that is certainly not the reacation i expected or would have given someone.

Later Jordan and others showed up hehe I got to see Tori without her braces for the first time cute. then misty poured water on me and my laptop bag THANKS MISTY for doing something retarded. but thats about all thats interesting that happened.

Arkansas

hey everybody i just got back from arkansas it was sooo fun. we went to like three state parks. the first one was the crator of diamonds state park which was pretty boroing but oh well i guess for going to a field full of dirt that they call a crator heheh but the other two parks were just amazing they were soooo beautiful.

Queen Wilhelmina state park was very beatiful but we didn't do much. we stayed in the state parks lodge itself it was amazing looking it was new but they gave it that rustic look with the wood walls and beds but it did have carpet. our room had an amazing view im talking spectacular. The next day we rode the little tourist train thing around the lodge it was kind of boring but i did get to see a rattlesnake thats always cool. After we left there we drive and drive and drive through the beautiful mountians they had there to go to Petit jean State park.

At Petit jean state park we did alot of things first of all when we got there we had about 3 hrs because our cabin wasnt ready on time. so we hiked to a bear cave (still didn't see any bears what so ever) that hike was short only .5 miles round trip, but i heard a small waterfall so i lft the trail (very illegal) and keep walking in the woods and saw a pretty waterfall that i had to hang on to a tree and lean over the edge to get a good pic of (speaking of which all my pics are on myspace soo youll have to go see them) then i got back to the main trail and thats when i realized it was illegal to go past something i went past. then we took a hiked to a small cave dwelling it was pretty. On this little .25 mile i once again got side tracked by rock climbing on the rocks that were there very very fun kept going and going and going then i realized i was about 80ft off the ground and had to climb down but it was sooo fun doing that. i found my way to the cave dwelling after that (didnt use the marked trail). inside the dwelling it was very dark and i didnt know if anything would be in there so i threw a rock very hard at a wall and like 20 birds flew out OOPS, hehehe then we went to the pool and had a little swim time. after that we ate at resturant over looked the mountians of course.

the next day early in the morning we did a 2 mile hike to the huge water fall that is the state park it was fun also but no rocks to climb on until the end when we got to the water fall and i got as close as possible to it without swimming hehe the hike down was very easy but back up the 250 ft drop was not as fun but i again went off the beaten path i did twice the work because i didnt use the nice steps they had winding down the mountian but i did it in have the time because i didnt have to zig zag up like the steps did

this was a very very fun but short vactation

Ok sorry guys i havent posted in like forever, foreever. heheh it sounds more dramatic when you say it twice b ut that is only in the real world.

Ok whats been going on well nothing latly just working at the Ice House and making and stacking ice that is about it and some people (like the girl i was talking to the other day) didnt even know such a place existed SILLY BLONDE

hehehe, but yeah i know i should blog more it helps people stay in touch and since ON AUGUST 2nd im moving to my dorm in Hammond at SELU i really need to blog more and more so that i can keep in touch will my peeps back at Dutchtown and P-ville. I really am going to miss yall but i will do as yall advised and blog ill will do it once a week and we'll see if it catches on from there well thats all for today ill have more to say tommorow i just remember that i was supposed to blog on here

Homecomming

Home Comming was so scool. First we went to the game and i sat by heather and her dad Mr. Joe then after that we went to jordans house and got ready well they got ready i was already ready. Heather wore a Red Dress it was beautiful. I was wearing all black with a red Tie that Heather told me i should wear hehehehe but its cool because it matched great. We took all kinds of pictures then headed to the dance. It was fun becasue they only played like two rap songs the whole time which was great. Tori and jordan slow dance wasnt that ackward she caught on quick i mean its not that hard. Heather caught on real quick but all it is, is swaying and turning in circles i mean its easy a monkey could do it. I actually enjoyed this homecomming usually i just go becasue my freinds are going or ill do something else. but i really had fun at this one. I have to give credit so Thank you Mr. Joe for extending heather's curfew twice also for letting me have the privileage of taking her to the dance. And thank you heather for accepting my invitation to go. hehehehe well i tried to be the perfect gentleman all night ask heather if i Succeeded in doing so i really hope so. hehe well after that we went bowling i didnt have that much fun there bowling was fun but the music they played was repulsive and i hated it made me sooo upset i guess im changing but thats what GOd always does constantly changes us to become more Christlike well i got to go later

A Series of unfortunate events

this ios going to be my post for the whole week/ weekend really but it sucks big time. First off me and my dad changed the slave cylinder in his truck after a while they get old and wore out so we changed it. well then he took a hot shot job to Bossier City. while up there the new slave cylinder blew out and when he took it off half of the junk fell in teh bell housing. So when i get home from walker i get a call saying come up here with Jeff Newsome to pick me up in bossier. NExt i called my boss told him i couldnt come in. he had no problem i sorta didnt give him a choice ya know but anyway i take teh five hour trip up there. None of you know jeff soo ill describe him. Mid aged bad temper. very bad temper. he also used to be a trucker. BUt anyway the whole way up there was filled with cursing (by him not me) he cursed out the cb for not working right. he cursed out the people on the road. he cursed out his cell phone. then the radio
then people again. The whole five hour trip to bossier. And another thing do you know whats on the way to bossier. NOTHING NOTHING AT ALL. But we got up there and loaded dads truck on the trailer. we made good time seeing itw as a 5 hr trip done in about 4 heheh yeah just a little speeding.

After we get dad home and his truck i start working on it yes we drove straight through the night didnt have time to stop so not much sleep. Me and dad start working on his truck and we get another slave cylinder in oh yeah forgot something. MOm calls us says she wants her truck (she drove mine to work) and it was making a funny noise so we go up there and get my truck and i donno what the noise was at the time. Then we got dads truck workign and i took it to work. STILL NO SLEEP. On my way home from work some idiot pulls out in front of me and hits dads truck HIT AND RUN. now dads truck still sint working right and we dont know why we replaced the steering box and the power steering pump. but it isnt steering right. BUt anyway sunday i drove my truck to work it still wasnt working right but it was driveable then on the way home i feel the truck pulling then not pulling then pulling then not so i push in the clutch and the thing dies so i call my dad and he comes pulls me home.

Monday my friends come over and we pull the bed off to check the fuel pump and filter the filter is blown through meaning junk went in my pump and burnt it up. my fuel filter being very small only cost me $150. well that took care of one thing on my truck.

Tuesday i stopped the odd noise come to find out my CV joint was bad but that wasnt the noise the noise was becasue of the only part a mechanic ever put on my truck. I had a mechanic install new 4-wheel drive locking hubs for my truck and there were the wrong once and they were binding up and tearing themselves up thank God it was just tearing them selves up but anyway thats my Series of unfortunate events.

ON a worse note i didnt get to go to refuge tonight and i didnt get to go to HPC sunday grr i feel my self slipping back so give me a ring and chek on me all this not church is getting to me not to mention the 4hr ride with Jeff. but anyway

i have decided to recreate my blog and im back i decided that i should have one for certian reason like for one reason it can be a good way to keep myself in check if something happens during today one of my many freinds can help me out with it and i dont have to worry about being scared to tell them about it in person so for that amoung other reasons i starting posting again like the new look i like it better oh well soo thats all for today besides watching Star trek and bringing my little sis to the dentist heheheh well peace out for now
